Search, No Action!

I had a whole literary theme going for this but the details didn't make it in.

You play as a journalist who was chosen at random to interview a reclusive mystery author, famous for having no known pictures, video, or audio recordings after his college graduation. In true eccentric mystery writer fashion, he gave you an address to an empty house. He will only do the interview if you manage to navigate the house and find the location of the interview*

Navigate the house, solve puzzles, and collect items that open up new locations! The controls are deliberately idiosyncratic:

WASD to move,

QE to turn

Shift to swim down (with the right item)

Space to swim up

Click with the mouse to interact with objects

I to open the inventory screen

*Heads up, this was never written down so the ending is abrupt. Just say it's 742 Evergreen Terrace.
